These are the new compostable Eco Caps from Lavazza. Lavazza have reduced the range of blends down to 7 but hope to increase it in the future.

Lavazza A Modo Mio is a capsule coffee system developed by the renowned Italian coffee company Luigi Lavazza S.p.A for making espresso in home espresso machines which have been specially designed to use this system.

The capsule is inserted into the machine and the upper foil of the capsule and the bottom get pierced in several places. The brewing process starts. The preheated water from the attached water-tank gets pumped through the pod with high pressure, entering the ground coffee through the previously made holes in the upper foil and after flowing through the ground coffee exits the capsule through the bottom. After use, the capsule is ejected into an internal capsule container in the machine.

Espresso Tierra is a 100% Arabica blend of coffees from Central & South America. Full-bodied and intense espresso with aromatic hints of fruit. The dark roast leaves a pleasant chocolaty aftertaste. Espresso Tierra is Organic.
